Never Moving Ever Moving

Director:Sitong Xue

Are you a person of arts?

Vincent, as a modern theatrist and playwright, belongs to the cadre of the City Theatre which was founded by both he and his closest friend John Langley. But recently, his life as a playwright wrestles with the complex of his mother Claudia’s decease when John forgoes his Avant-Garde play “Never Moving, Ever Moving”. With his self-projective play rehearsals repeatedly by himself and the two actors, a past of Vincent’s scant family that he eschews for a long time reveals Claudia’s vulnerable fixation to her art.

Vincent takes a hallucinating journey to the beach, seeking for a vague answer in the deep desolating dusk.

The story is all about their division and compromise, heart-breaking and reconstruction, introspection and catharsis, questions and answers — when their time stagnants, can these seemingly opposite yet closely bonded people find the answer of their life?
